Aspect : Shape and size are globose to depressed, round overall, with a flat apex and a flattened coil in some species. Adult shells typically measure 40–70 mm in diameter. The body whorl bear clusters of 2 or more hollow, finger-like spines at regular intervals. Base color ranges from cream to pinkish-brown. Round aperture and interiorly nacreous (pearly). Operculums are multispiral and corneous, often calcified. Key identifiers include the unique spine structure (hollow and clustered), the prominent, flat body whorl with spines, and the overall sculpture and coloration, which differentiate Angariidae from similar turbinids
Feeding : herbivorous, feeding on algae.
Environment : tropical waters of Indo-Pacific region ranging from the Andaman Sea and Southeast Asia (including Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan) to Northern Australia and New Caledonia. Dwelling from low tide levels down to approximately 45 m, typically associated with rocky substrates in coastal and reef environments
